..It certainly feels wrong

My currently daily driver is an Omega and I need more space! My mountain bike doesnt fit in my Omega (plus the bike rack is a mission to put on/take off) and I also want to get a pit bike for some weekend fun!

So its either an MPV or a van and a van isnt really practical.. As I'm a vauxhall man the Zaifra seems the best bet

I have to say I've never actually driven a Zafira, I assume they are just based on an Astra Estate floorpan?

Ive driven the 1.6 Zaf, was my aunts. They go alright actually and it doesnt seem to float around like the Galaxy (1.9TDi) I drove, think its because its more of a car than a van? I dunno, felt nicer to drive anyway

Going to go look at a 1.8 Auto.. I've got loads of spares for a 1.8 so might as well focus on that lol

mk2's are brilliant especially the 2.0 turbo's but even the 1.6 versions are decent, excellent driving positions and they really hold the road well

havnt driven any of the mk1's though

I got a 1.6 when I went on holiday. I thought it was a 2.0 until I looked at the key. Quite nippy and you could rev the nuts off of it.

The 1.8's are the same engine as a Corsa C SRi iirc. Quite comfy things, I'd imagine it'd be nice for a daily hack.

Choice between auto and GSi..... for the extra work you have to do to clutch and change gear i think i could manage. Ive got a thule set up for my corsa for the bikes, is a mision to get bikes up onto it though

But whats the point? Even the VXR would feel slow compared to my Impreza so why bother? I might as well just get the 1.8 auto, it could just about pull the skin of a rice pudding and its only a daily shed. Just want stress free motoring.

New or old one by the way?
A black one slightly lowered can still look good.
Saw a grandad in a pimped one a while back

MK1 so pre2005.

Silver would be my preference, dont have to clean it so much.

I went back to silver after owning a black tigra
Scratches galore, but ive just helped wash my mates black lupo and used some polish on it and it looks stunning. Silver just never looks that shiny.
