right ive narrowed it down to two cars now.

ford Racing Puma. 1700cc 155bhp. absolutley love the car, its looks are it is an iconic car and will only go up in value in time. 155bhp standard, not amazingly quick just 'nippy'. i would keep it totally standard and make sure its well looked after.

Corsa C sri. 1800cc 125bhp. this is my other choice, purely for the fact i loved my other corsa, and the 1.8 SRI is the newer shape with a better engine and are an under stated car. only thing that lets it down is the interior unless its the half leathers. and i know exactly what i would do to it.

its just between these cars so dont go posting up anyother cars

comments welcome, as im sure plenty on here have had an SRI. and one or two have had a Racing puma

Don't see many racing pumas tbh, I'd go for that. I'd imagine it's a much more capable car anyway, although I haven't driven one.

Its not what other people like though, its what you like. And by the way you have been talking about them it sounds like the obvious choice tbh

FRP. If you keep it nice you won't lose any money either. Same can't be said for the C unfortunately.

if you cant get one in near new condition with low mileage then your sorted. But dont go for a dog. make sure the interior is still in a good way otherwise it will look shabby.

frp's are unbelieveable handling cars. for the money, you will have so much fun blasting down b roads and go around corners at mental speeds.

cost alot to maintain though. the brakes are a fortune for a new lot.

oh and make sure you look at the arches on frp's as they are prone to stone chipping

yeah, ill be looking over everything, as i said im not going to rush buying one, because if i bught a half decent one with a couple of bits wrong with it, i wouldnt enjoy the car knowing there defects on the car, so im going to buy the mintest one possible
