just wondering if many people on here have private plate and the general opinion of them nowadays?

me and the misses both have one

probably wouldnt buy one nowadays but bought it a few years ago when i had plenty spare cash to burn

wouldnt mind one, but only thing is every where you go people will know its you, where as with standard plate people could think its just the same car. but i wouldnt know what to get. so im not on the look out.

i like them if you don't have to mess with the spacing too much

the prices have shot up, it's big money for anything vaguely good in my opinion

Damn right.

As has the missis.

Mine will be transferred soon. Its gone from the Corsa, to the Bandit, and will now go on the Benelli.

I didn't buy a C*RSA plate specifically for the reason that it would have to stay on the corsa thus a waste of money. Where-as my plate can follow me on anything I own.

We have one on the Astra, L20 PDL. Last owner put it on then split up with his missus, might try and sell it, means nothing to us

I doubt its worth anything but it will make the car slightly easier to sell so you might as well leave it on there..

It will cost you £105 to put it onto retention so you need to make more than that to even make it worth bothering with.

Wish id never bothered now though. £105 for every car change to keep it!!

Im tempted to bin mine in a few years if I can get me hands on CO11 NJS or CO11LNS or CO11NCJ etc...........when they get released.
