dont think the standard turbo will doo much over 1.1bar which with fuel fiddled abit and maybe an intercooler fitted would be around 100ish bhp

The isuzu block is a strong engine, once heard of one running something stupid like 200-300hp in spain. Wish I'd tuned mine up a bit tbh but didn't have a clue what I was doing lol

yes they are very tunable as I had one myself but better if it was a 1.7. Y can use a frontera turbo and bigger intercooler.

and yes y can make it rev at 7000 there is a screw on the fuel pump near to make rev like that I did myself.

Why would a screw on the fuel pump make it rev to 7k rpm?

And why would all the power be at the top of this imaginary rev range?

I know they can be easily tuned but I don't see how this would increase the rev range.

the governer on the old pumps stop them revving too high . you can adjust them to make them rev higher .. but doing that on a standard 1.5td wont do jack other than fvck it up as the turbo would of well and trully run out of gummy berry juice at5k on it.

all i know is that they are very tunable engines, you wouldnt believe how quick they could become with very little money

ok not the best at top speed runs but the one i had was setup very well with little to no turbo lag, mid range where it counts im sure i could have equaled or pulled in front of a 1.6
