All you need is a letter headed bit of paper from a garage to say they have checked the conversion and it is secure blah blah.

Make one on your computer, sign it, put your mobile no down as contact and send it off.

Sorry to hi-jack:

I may need a engineer report also for my conversion. Do they check JUST the conversion side of it or as it's an engineers report, everything else on car like rust etc?

I Imagine vaux will be ok with it, I had a quote from mine for £30 but wanna make sure it's just conversion side!

On the form i got from my insurance it has a bit more than just the coversion side of things.

The only way i could describe it as a mini mot.

Did vauxhall quote you £30 to do the engineers report?

If its anything like the DVLA, then bullshit a letter (I can help) and send it to the insurance people. All they need is a headed letter with about 2-3 lines of text and signed with some name.

£25? let them do it, its not worth loosing out in the long run, forged documents and trying to make a claim can only end in tears.

He was probably being serious, it's not difficult.

For £25 I'd just go to vaux though.
