Yes it goes off, add as much fresh petrol to it as possible so it doesnt clog up your injectors and fuel filter

Aye, as soon as the petrol is in your tank, the octane rating gets lower. After a year it'll be like dirty water. Get it topped up asap!

yup, fuel actually loses octane all the time when kept in vented tank like a car tank or petrol station storage, which is why its good to fill up at a busy garage that gets regular fresh supplies

it wont clog anything up, but will make the engine det if its old enough, which could in a worse case scenario end up in a melted piston or similar, if you've got more than half a tank in there i'd drain it pout and fill up with fresh tbh

that wont increase the octane, you could add some millers cvl turbo or if you're feeling fruity get some toulene, bascially the main chemical ingredient in all octane boosters that actually work, too muc and you'll melt the fuel lines though, just drain it and get some fresh

I wasn't saying Redex would up the octane. I'm suggesting he uses it as an injector cleaner, maybe meaning there would be less chance of them clogging up.
