I can't see it.

He's had his day, he's happy being relaxed.

BUT

Who else can they put in for short term? Both drivers are contracted and Ferrari will want to get rid of niether at the moment (injuries pending on Massa with his eye).

Test driver? But would the test driver want to race for only a few races.

6 weeks for massa, minimum, at least we have a 1 month summer break now.

I dont think it'll happen. Alonso should sack Renault off and join Ferrari now instead of next year

No it won't happen, Schumacher has nothing to gain from it and a lot to loose. He hasn't driven a car since 2008 and with his neck injury i don't think he is medically fit enough to drive. Plus his manager has been quoted to say that there is nothing in this.

If Masa doesn't make it back for Valencia, although there are reports to say he could be released in a few days time, i think they'll get a test driver to step in or perhaps nab Mirko Bortolotti from F3. There's also rumours of DC stepping in, but yeah i doubt Red Bull would release he

At last, a bit of excitement in the thread. Watching F1's boring enough, talking about it's like pulling teeth. What did he do to cheat?

I'm not sure what you've been watching but this season is looking up to be the best for a very very long time - you had the underdogs Brawn kicking the season off, then the bulls catching up and thrashing the brawns, now you have the McLarens getting their arses in gear and challenging, likewise with Renualt, and you have the Ferrari who are hanging with the Toro Rosso's and Force India's - it's great.

Dom, don't get me wrong, if you watched a Match of the Day type highlight show it'd be pretty interesting. But it's the fact that it's just the cars constantly driving round with someone overtaking/ being overtaken once or twice a race. I'd literally have a better time watching some good go-kart racing. Just my opinion of course, I can see the appeal.

But you could say that about any car series, and I would agree back in the schumacher era, but the last few season have been pretty good, and this season is out standing, especially with overtaking

Hm, I suppose, but I love any sort of Touring Cars due to the fact that it's no holds barred racing. I find F1 a bit 'delicate' sometimes.

tbh though, it's probably the older era that's put me off it, that was when I first started kind of attempting to tune into it.

People calling the 7x WORLD F1 CHAMPION a cheat

Hmmm, now go look at your motorsport history at the car greats.......

Senna??? Suzuka, Vs Prost.....

THe biggest naughty things he done was

a) Damon Hill, although I still think there was a gap there, and as a racer, you go for the gap... If it had been Schui Vs some non UK driver, it would have been ok???

b) Monaco, when in qualifying he could have moved off line, but didn't...

Still, he is a racer, all racers act the same. Just some get a little blind to their own UK boys

Micheal was an outstanding driver. You dont win 7 championships and be pants........

F1 is delicate. If you were a team boss, would you want someone crashing your £30 million racecar It is the peak of car motorsport.

Look at Bourdais.. Indycar champion for years, comes to F1, ldoesn't ever do anything remotely decent.

People saying "arrogent" but ALL racers are. Its not arrogence, its confidence, and with massive confidence comes a bit of arrogence. If they had no confidence, they wouldn't be in F1....

They are RACERS not tv stars remember

So easy to hate the best just becuase they are the best.

Is Rossi a cheat because of the move in Spain against Gibenau? Or in the USA when he pressured Stoner? Or any of the millions of other "rossi biased" battles???????

Noo, he is a racer, and has to fight to be the best...

i remember when schumacher went into the gravel trap and the marshals pushed him back out, that was technically cheating but very good on hs part by telling them to push him.

people hate him because he uses his initiative to get where he did.
