What do you get for using your car to get to work when it's actually insured for personal use?

its still driving without insurance, because you dont have business insurance and you were using your car for business your own policy wasnt in effect and there was no other policy in place.
you could throw yourself at the mercy of the court, claim your boss told you they have business insurance that you were covered on and following this incident youve quit work etc, make out you didnt know

I would guess he is 19/20/21, at this age would say its unlikely business insurance would only be £2 extra? I dont know though, when I used to do deliveries I didnt bother, good job I didnt get caught

Ever since I was 18, business use was a free addition to my policy. Just had to tell them about it.

Did you admit to it? If not just deny it, take it to court..

Getting business insurance is quite easy but alot off them dont cover delivering fast food so you need to make sure it does

Free addition to a motor isurance policy?

Surely not, the insurance industry is a fuckingscam

If you admitted it, just pleed innocence and you wont do it again, didn't realise you have to have it etc etc.

You are driving without valid insurance, which is 6 points... if you argue you need your licence for your job though you might get away with a 6 month ban £250 fine and no points though.

mind you it might be faster to get your licence revoked and re-take your test again instead of taking the 6 month ban.

Yeah, definitely free, although it's business class 1. You need class 3 for delivering pizzas, IIRC.
