got pulled over by a police bike today whilst coming home from thruxton. the officer said i was doing silly speeds, ''probably in excess of a ton'', and i am silly for it, was just bored of sitting at 60-70mph for 80 miles.
will i get anything through the post about it? he didn't read me my rights or give me anything at all, just told me to not be silly in future and drive away.
just worried as i know some of those bikes do have video evidence

Dnt know really, never ever been pulled over in 3 years:S (apart from my crash, but there wasnt much pulling over involved haha)

didn't give me anything, wasn't too pleased though. i felt like a twat standing there and all the cars i'd just overtook going past
won't be doing it in the vicinity of police next time

very lucky is an understatement tbh eck, thank god he didn't see me before he came from a slip road.
learnt my lesson now anyway, just had so much adrenaline from the 430 scuderia i had drove an hour earlier

I was pulled and had a similar thing, thought a road was a 60 but turned out it was a 40 (not a built up area) had a traffic cop pull me over and was going mad at me actually shouting at me pretty much then made me wait while he checked my details etc then told me to stop driving like a twat then that was it.
Nothing in the post etc.

i got pulled over for speeding in a 60 once in my old 1.3 golf! .. 2 police cars and 3 coppers pulled me .... breathlized *sp me and check the old beast over .. never even asked me my name. i could of been banned or just stole the car .. they allso said i was tanking it .. 65mph in a 60! good job i left the corsa at home

I got pulled over once for forgetting to put my lights on, it was a cop van and he pulled up next to me and wound his window down to talk to me and as he did I heard them over the radio saying, "driver should be Paul Harris", , then he asked me my name and said put your lights on and drove off.

probably yes, but it felt good until he caught me first time i've been pulled over in the focus for anything.

Our cops are on strike at the moment over a pay rise so, people are doing stupid things on the road at the moment.....I saw a guy pulling at least 100 klms (60 odd in your language) past a cop sat on the side of the road in a 60 zone today.
