Sold it for spares to a guy on migweb who breaks cars, got £1200 which included the set of polished speedlines the car came with.
Still didnt stop me buying another LET though except got my current one from chris astley that he built/finished off himself very solid shell aswell which was a plus

That's in the same league as my old foglight:

Was hacked wonkily into the bumper and "sealed" round with Tigerseal, then the back of the light was bashed into the polystyrene bumper filler and fixed with No More Nails You can see the white mark left behind here:

Prefer my effort tbh.

In the saxo i had, The radiator was held in with cable ties. Whoever had it before me had sheered off the bolts on the old breckets and never tapped them out and replaced them. To be honest neither did I as it never caused any problems.

Old corsa Xe i bought came without a stereo, no biggie as i had a Pioneer headunit in the garage anyway. Happily the original loom was intact so it was plug and play until i realised no sound from the rear so removed the panel to come to the realisation the previous toss pot had twisted the speaker wires together wtf would you do that!!!!!

some how/ luckily it didnt blow the rear channels on the headunit but wtf would you do that instead of putting some tape on the ends and leaving them as is

It would cut-out in the event of a short because it has a safety feature in it to prevent it from killing itself...

you think thats a bodge, you should see the corsa red top that i have just been working on.

it had:
no eml light wired in
no oil light wired in
no temp gauge wired in
wires to the cts had broke so they pushed them in the plug and used tape to hold them in.
selector had not been modified so you couldn't get all gears.
home made eco tec adaptor plate and pipe but there was a hole where the icv pipe goes to it and they had just folded the pipe and cable tied it to stop it over revving.
no rev counter or speedo cable.

most of the wires were just twisted together too,it's all sorted now though.
