I was chatting last night to a girl i just met (she into cars) and talking about first cars, mine was a nova saloon. tell her this, n the first thing she says is "were you a chav back then" i was like why are novas so chavvy. But that was back 5 years or so ago when chavs didnt exsist; they were townies then
P.S. i was/am most defeniatly not a chav and/or townie

Novas have the image of a boy racer due to the fact nearly everyone has owned one at some point, the majority of them have been badly kitted ones back then, now a days you see more subtle, good condition ones. I still to this day would prefer another nova over a corsa.

You've never lived
Novas used to be the chavs car of choice a while back but nowadays 90% of them tend to be owned by enthusiasts and are super clean, smart examples.

I always used to associate them with chavvy helmets before i got serious in the Vauxhall scene. Nowadays i love them, aslong as there done properly i.e fast and clean looking or just standard.
Whats with the offset steering wheel though lol. I reckon thats why all ya chavs hang to the right when there caning there motors through town. Its in there genes.

Been in one or two I think. Never used to like them much, but now I love them- there are some really tidy examples about.

I'd love a stripped out XE on TB's. LEE's 1.8 TB'd nova is fap worthy.

to be fair, first nova i was in did belong to an older mate who was like 4 years older than me and was first out my group of friends to drive, did wear a burberry cap and did buy stuff for it from halfords, so ther are chav aspects to it (for the record i have never worn burberry nor am chavvy, just fancied free lifts lol)
