Difficult one.. The old ones are getting really cheap but you'd have to find someone who wants to part with the little extra for the fact its had re-build.
Would be easier to sell if you put it back to standard body workwise and fitted a prodrive system or something just as subtle
All the parts scream out "I've been ragged"

Doesnt matter if he does or not, it looks like its been "boy'ed up", SN members will all say the same thing its a hell of alot easier to sell a standard looking Impreza always has been.. Plus you'll make more on the parts anyway

Tbh you can't make assumptions like that until you see/drive the car and meet the owner.
I'm not a big scooby fan but it looks like a really tidy example.

But its the extra bits that id say make it different from the rest in a good way.
Not just another silver impreza imo, yes you appeal to a smaller market but to the right buyer it has all the right bits not just ebay special bits, its nice shame its not a 2 door else id be interested

SWEET JESUS! I AM NOT saying Dave has thrashed his car....
I am just echoing what people say time and time again and exactly what I believe to, when it comes to performance cars like the Impreza people get put off by modifications. Yes there are people who modify cars and dont thrash the tits off them all day long and generally keep them maintained to a high standard (me being one of them) its just easier to get the car back as close as possible to standard then there is more of a market for it PLUS you make more money selling the parts seperately.

If someone was serious about buying the car they would go and see it and see how immaculate it is.
Why you selling anyway?

Difficult one, its probably not worth as much as you'd want.
Probably 4-5k & I know its worth a lot more than that to you, just keep it min
Unless your going to replace it with something nice?

I get what dave is saying, if i was looking to buy id be more interested in a more standard looking one. I might be in the minority though.

A standard one generally wouldnt have been as well looked after at that age & is just as likely to have had its trousers humped right aff!!
You can tell by looking at Andy's car its a good example, followed up by a quick flick through the receipts.
