Who else is very surprised? It looks like the clio could have taken the RS at a couple of points if the 'track' was a bit wider too.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh dear
If that was a 300 bhp scooby it would leave the clio for dead.

I doubt that very much Alan. The Focus is a very capable car, the Clio is too, evidently.

just a bad colour choice, focus was obviously on the limit due to 3 wheels too

very good driving from both, but it always seems easier to press hard if your the person chasing!! also the clio seemed to catching alot threw braking late so maybe focus RS isnt as good under hard braking prob the weight its got behind it! Focus RS is still the one for me!

Look how the focus pulls away on the short straights, the clio is being made to look good on a tight twisty track.
Wouldn't even be a competition in the traffic light gp's the majority of them will see.

Clio is an ugly fucker. Focus in that colour doesn't really work either, just looks like an ordinary Focus.

Fucking stupid video, Millbrook is not a good track to be racing around it's barely wide enough for one car to be going at a decent pace and is quite tricky.
Like people have mentioned, much easier to be following a car around there than to be out in front. Put that in real world terms I would think that 9 times out of 10 the Focus would win unless you had some idiot driving the FRS and a capable driver in the Clio.

as standard the focus really just wants to oversteer, makes high speed cornering very worrying...
the clio stops better and handles better, is alot lighter and has decent power. on the straight the focus would just pull away effortlessly tho.

That Clio does seem like a cracking car (looks aside), but its hardly a track suited to the Focus.
You could have probably put a Nissan GTR infront of the Focus for it to chase, and there wouldn't have been much in it, so in that case, would the Clio be as good as a GTR?
Either way, i'd love one of those clios (in a nicer colour) for a track toy. They seem like fun.

i think theres quite a few straights to allow the focus to make a gap, the clio out corners it that is all

Once again, Millbrook Alpine track is a handling track, very technical and I doubt you could get over 80mph around it.
Put it around any other track in the UK with a few longer straights and I suspect the FRS would win, everytime.

On another note I have seen a video of the Focus RS and the R26R on track, and the megane is the quicker car.

Thats kinda obvious it would be though. Okay, its less powerful, but its about 200kg lighter and its got road legal slicks. Its a track focused car.

which still proved the clio outhandles a focus rs? i know its not faster or a better car, but it shows the clio has awesome handling

agree no more than a fancy kitted st tbh. if the bvideo had long straights then people would complain that the course didnt suit the clio
