puma drives brilliantly though, and has four seats, and a boot. Plus won't get spat in if the roof is down.

keep the puma then
but the mx5 would be a better all rounder bar it having less seats and convertable

MX5! Shouldnt even need to ask the question!
If you are going to buy a girls car you might as well buy the best one

Driven both and regardless of all the 'Gay' 'Hairdresser' bollocks you hear they are 2 of the best cars i've driven.
Get yourself an nice well looked after early MX5.Or a Racing Puma

The puma is fantastic imo. For me the FRP just isn't "better" enough to justify the extra expense over my normal one.
I do fancy an mx-5 though, I would prefer the mk1, anyone any experience with different models?

Driven them all mate...worked for at mazda for a while.
Earlyest ones are the best but the N/P reg examples are good too...newer ones are just over tech'd

Sounds daft bu the best advise i can give for an MX5 is
Sort the brakes...tyres and geometry from a specialist.Driven a few that were ropey as hell and spoilt the whole experience.....then drove a set up example and it was

get an frp and have even greater handling in a very good car
+ frp's were built in limited numbers so should keep their value well.

Dont know but I'd rather have one than an MX-5.
Its got all the nice touches. The seats, the wheels, the bodykit and the paint
