Yeh same

Its a lot of money but being in the car all I could think of was 'Yep I can justify spending that!'

But could get the same enjoyment from a good corsa build lol which is what you were on about the other day...

i drove an artic corsa the other week, sounded great, drove nice but the rev range was too short, top of 3rd was only just over 60mph. also found the interior to be a bit crap to other cars around the same money. dials looked cheap and shit, the recaros however where awesome. will be a great car when prices drop

Gotta agree with that, drove 3 ST's, and 2 Astra VXR's, and must say, the focus sounds sooooooooo much better!!!

Astra VXR and ST sound good in their own rights, some prefer the burble of the 5 cylinder, but a VXR with Remus or Milltek Race are wicked sounding cars.

Get a silver Astra VXR, with black rims. Courtenays new test car is a silver one on anthracite Revolutions and it looks gorgeous.

i work at perrys vauxhall and have driven all the above cars mentioned ( corsa d vxr- and arctic- nurburg astra and reg vxr )
probablly get a lot of stick for this but i do find the 1.9 cdti 150 to be as quick ( and boost harder ).... ill grant you not as fun.. i absolutely love corsa vxr's but i couldnt cope with silly mpg figures when i could get 45 mpg from a very quick powerful diesel

I agree. My CDTI 150 was tuning boxed and was nearly as quick as my VXR when it was standard.

only because some pillocks say silly things.

maybe the bloke can't afford the service/insurance/general running costs on a tvr or a monaro? i know i could just about probably do it if i was single and still lived with my parents but only because of the job i have.

i'd be fucked if i actually wanted to save some money up for my future
