Im having a arguement with my step dad, my car was lowered on 15 x 8 rims and i had the car lowered jsut over the wheels, suspension was spax rsx coilovers all round, i did 20k last year with this setup and never once had a problem. is it legal to be this low as i know of many people running lower than 60m(ish) on their corsas.
step dad has said raise it up or stop driving it. gutted as the car looked mint lowered how it was before.
P.S - hes a real cunt and will try n chuck me out if i tryy n drive the car with it being ''dangerous'' and i cant afford to move out.

That's about as illegal as doing 29 in a 30 zone.

It's already failed once and you live in his house. I think you know where this is going.

If your paying for the car and its in your name them tell him to jog on as its yours and you will do what you want with it.
I can't see it being un safe mate. My car went through its mot lowered around 100mm no problem.

"Ok... Its my house, I will have whoever I want living in it, or rather NOT living in it..."
My mum would kick my real dad on his arse though if he tried to kick me out unless I'd done something really wrong.

Cant fail your mot for not enough suspension travel if the aftermarket parts are designed with short travel in mind. Id have reported the twat for that!
As for your stepdad he hasnt a clue what hes on about. Whilst under his roof you live by his rules and i suppose thats not up for debate, however your car isnt under his roof so you can do as you please.
Low cars are fine anyway, tell him if he thinks low cars are dangerous then how do supercars stay on the road... or F1 cars, fuck it go-karts dont have any suspension and none of those are death traps!

Its legal i think, as long as it doesn't cause damage to the roads and isnt dangerous.
He's just being a spoil sport. Slap it, slap it some more, then slap him (unless he's bigger than you)
