I've had one for years that cost me £169.99 when I bought it, they have just come on offer for £97.89 and its the best value tool kit I've seen! The ratchets alone are over £60 by them selves!

I've just bought another one so I can have a set in the car and a set at home and I keep all my big tools at my workshop

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_173083_langId_-1_categoryId_165572

Still priced up as £149.99 in the stores, just do a collect from store on the website and take in the print out

You are always welcome to borrow one of the ramps or space for a small contribution

Yeh that is weird...

Are you able to use a trade card discount on top of the sale price for that tool kit you think?

you can use a trade card, but you will end up paying more money.
the trade price will be of the original price £169.99 so trade price will be something like £130.00.
so a trade card in this case will be no use at all

You need to either have a auto mechanical qualification or a nice stack of motorfactor invoices from the last 3 months.

On the new one all of the Hex and screw driver bits are those little inserts, on the older version they are all 3/8 drive sockets and bloody useful!

I'm a mechanical engineering apprentice and I took in 1 payslip, told the guy behind the counter I worked at the on-site garage as a mechanic (bullshit) and he gave me a form to fill out for it.

Half price spark plugs + wipers FTW.
