As some of you may know, I've been having alot of trouble trying to insure my 1.4 sport for a decent price, the cheapest quote ive gotten is £4000 so i gave up, but! today I bought a new car very nice imo, i prefer it to my sport anyway and is alot better condition

This one is alottttt cheaper to insure to!

First of all ill list the spec and mods already done to it

Corsa B 1999 (V) Club 1.2 16v.

Exterior:
G-Max uprated shocks and springs lowered 60mm
Corsa GSi vented front brakes
Vectra GLS wheels 15"
Smoothed front bumper
Colour coded arches
Laguna splitter.

Also the person I bought it off put a 1.2 SXi engine from a Corsa C SXi in it, soooo it only has 40,000 miles on it Although theres 98K on the shell which doesnt bother me

Interior:

Smoothed and painted handles.
Uprated speakers.
Alarm
Remote central locking.

Anyway heres the pics

What do you think?

Gott all the stuff off my sport today so my depos Corsa C SRi wheels sprayed anthracite, and my steering wheel will be going on it.

I shopped around! phoned up, internet, walking in the insurance places no luck.

I'm 17, started learning on monday so it was stupid of me to get a 1.4 sport in the first place.

The engine conversion is from 1.2 to 1.2 so insurance isnt effected

Its much more reasonable price being £1860 full comp for me to insure now, Woop

Fair enough, started learning last week too ha. My insurance is only 1477 fully comp, thats on a 1.2 8v though, is the 16v naturally more expensive to insure?

You must be gutted, as you put alot of hardwork into the sport ,

However give it half a year with that and you can have the sport back, im only 17 been driving since October 08 and in May i got a 1.6 sport for only an extra £200 on insurance making it a £1000.

You going to put stuff like your Veccy GSI Recaro's in dude ?

when i lost my lisence and re took my test, i got a 1.6 sport at 20, a year ago, and got it insured for 1950 with 6 points and alloys, n suspension declared.

so bit of a bummer

Yeah was heartbroken at first, the day i ordered £400 worth of parts for it is the day i found out about the insurance but a lass, all my parts will fit on this one so got a bedroom full of parts to play with and got my carbon door cards and boot trim to collect from pvs along with whatever i spend the rest of my money on there
