smooth euro look
rat look
less is more
sleepers
OEM (if you can call it modifying??)

with the recession, i reckon there will be a continuation with the sleeper (oem) theme because its cheap.

then i think itll reciprocate

yeah id agree that big kits and stuff will come back in. although i think for the next few years there is going to be less and less wacky cars and more subtle ones that look like every other cars at a car show due to lack of funds etc.

the internet has ruined the big kitted look as everyone just slags it off. some cars look good with kits and stuff on i always thought.

sometimes oem stuff can be more expensive than shitty big gay bodykits e.g. irmscher stuff.

it's not about cheapness, it's about taste.

I can't really vision where it will go in the next few years, but I do like the OEM and sleeper idea at the moment

big kits, race inspired etc, will always look good on high performance, and in paticular jap import cars (your evos, gtr's, 200sx's etc)



but stuff like this?? (red fiesta)



(mates car at mod nats - lowering / new alloys needed though)

and there are the cars as seen on barryboys - fail...

but barry boys just shows up the ones that arent any good. there are some great bodykitted cars out there done to extremely high standards

original equipment manufacture i think, basically using components from higher spec models of your car / manufacturer range (eg a 'club' with 'gsi' bodykit),
