Where do i start? A family friend came round last night and saii that her dad is getting rid of his 1.6 fiesta, in silver, with less than a 1000 miles on the clock its like a brand new car never been smoked in, the usual garbage. He wants Ł5000 for it. However my car is on finace and how just a touch over Ł3,000 on it. What would you do? Its not the newest fiesta\ the one before it.

perhaps some one used it as a weekend car to do all the shopping?

My mum did 2k miles in her Clio in a year thats when she was doing a course in college 13 miles away from where we lived...

How has it been kept? (garage, driveway, etc) Thing with very low mile car, is that they haven't been used to things start to seize, parts corrode quicker, exhausts rust quicker etc.

Been kept in a garage, only used to go from stone-stoke on trent a few times which is only 9.1 miles each way.

Personally wouldnt pay 5k for a fiesta, but its your money at the end of the day. also if you already have finance i'd pay that off then look for a new car matey. But if you like it then its your own decision.
Bear in mind though that you have a car at the moment that doing the job, although the fiesta only has 1k miles things could go wrong. same as any car.

another year i think Matt.

Might just pop up and have a look at it, I was thinking of just waiting and paying this finance off (next year) then sell the polo and looking ata quicker car anyways.

Not as such just a few niggly bits, like gthe eml light is coming on (but its due to a sensor thats been messed with) and its too slow for my liking. You want to buy it?

what is the fiesta, if you would be looking at a quicker car in a years time, unless the fiesta is a ST i wouldnt bother as you would want some thing quicker in a years time.

it may also be a 1.4 the lady who came round wasn't too sure . I doubt it is a st. Think i'll just wait, So fo ranyone whos looking for a brand new fiesta i know one for sale
