Hey all,

Some of you may of seen in my post the other day, I went to jamsport had new clutch, brakes and decat. At the same time they fitted my new BC Racing coilovers. Unfortunately they ran out of time to get them set up for me, so they invited me back yesterday to have them setup for free.

Considering it was done for free, several of them spent several hours tweaking the car until it was set up perfectly! (I was plesantly surprised).

While I was there, I also whacked it on the rollers to check it was making appropriate power - 236 bhp @ fly... which is pretty much smack on standard (237) so I'm happy with that.

Here's a couple of pics...

Despite how low it looks, it handles superbly and rides really nicely. The car has a lot of rear camber for stability at high speed cornering, however still oversteers and drifts very nicely! Jamie @ Jamsport took me out in the car and impressed me greatly showing me what the car can do Drifting it 'Tokyo Drift' Style round roundabouts and through traffic

Due to the coilovers adjustable damper settings, I can make it harder for smooth fast track driving, or make it softer for every day use. I have it set roughly in the middle of damping at the moment and it's lovely, handles nicely and doesn't 'crash into bumps' - but rides them nicely.

I definately recommend the BC Racing coilovers and jamie @ jamsport to set them up! (Note the coilovers are pointless unless set up correctly, as I found originally before I returned to get them set up).

but there's loads of suspension travel still, due to the coilovers... and with the damping, it's not like I'm breaking teeth on bumps. Infact it rides pretty much standard, I'm sure if I put it a few clicks softer on damping, it'd be softer than standard over bumps

haha James, I have tyre shine. I just never use it. For a start it makes the tyres more slippy

I just took the car for a really nice, gentle top down drive around Windsor, Maidenhead, Taplow, Beaconsfield etc... Really nice, going past Windsor Castle I had loads of people looking at the car

I did consider popping by I went quite close to your house / place of work (STALKER)... but i was just 'cruising' round for a laugh getting a tan and enjoying the warm weather.

My dad has shown me some awesome roads that I didn't even realise existed Finally I've got a play ground again to drive my car on, since all the roads near me have been dropped down to 30 mph and littered with speed cameras.

Hey who were you?

The scare mongers on s2ki forum are telling me it's too low on the rear and unless I've got special drive shaft spacers / prop shaft bearings and special bushes the whole lot will be fucked in a a short space of time Only time will tell though
