Has anyone else noticed car tax has yet again gone up in price? Two weeks ago it was £175 to tax my 1.6 sport for 12 months now its £190.
This country =SHITE!

I phoned the DVLA today and had to listen to it all so yeah, I noticed.
Consider yourself lucky.
Mine has gone up £35 to £435.

£190 for 12 months on the old 1.6's+ now
£125 for 12 months on the old 1.2's and 1.4's.
All of the new tax bands have gone up as well unless it's a low emission car, £120 band up to £125, £145 to £150 etc etc.
I feel sorry for high emission brand new car owners, £400+ tax. Ouch.

look on parkers. tells you what band your car is and how much it'll cost you

Band K mate £215 for 12 months quite pleased its not £400 like the 2003 onwards
