Ye, looks a bit off there as the ground was all bumpy..better pic.

Was running -90mm Coilsprings, FK's wound right down on the front and 195/40's.
Was great but a pain in the ass, had a powerflow on it for a while which was constantly being ripped apart ( a blessing really as it was shit), couldn't get in multi-story car parks etc
Was a pain but i'd do it again tomorrow.

i found mine handle very well in my silver one and that was lower..
ian thats about 100mm dude, not 90mm..
and wooly the one you posted on softstars is about 80mm
only thing you need to watch at all is the exhaust (on a budget get some smaller exhaust rubbers, but i went for a straight through with small silencer) obviously must have the correct wheel offset aswell..

I had the a new system built right up into the tunnel, plus the downpipe was modded to wrap right into the sump. The mid boxes had little skid pates on them so if they hit anything the boxes weren't damaged.
Never had another problem with the exhaust then

My old GSi was 60mm front and 90mm rear and it handled amazing. My LET is lowered 100mm rear and around 75mm front but doesn't handle anywhere near as well but then again with a big lump and F28, the front end characterists couldnt be anymore different. But as Nic stated the lower the back, the worse it will handle. If you're going for handling then keep the back up a bit. If for looks then level suspension is always best

I have a magnex back box and have a straight through center section and both sit high up under the car.
what exhaust rubbers would be the best to lift the back box up if i did need to lift it up a touch?

You can get tight, thinner rubbers but you have to remember that the steel is mounted and fabricated in a way that won't allow it to bend and flex so you only have the rubbers to play with the height. I used my GSi daily and it wasn't too bad. Never really smacked the backbox. I did however have to have the pipe bend up and over higher above the beam beacause it will rattle on it.

That's quite a good way of sorting it, I've cut the middle out of an old rubber and cable tied it onto the beam
Could also do with shorter rubbers, the backbox has never hit the floor but the hangers rattle against the panel thing behind the bumper
Numberwang!
