Much much more than that!!

Belt service will be 1500 quid, maybe closer 2.

Brakes......................couple of grand!! Didnt Stu get suspension & brakes on his & not get change out of 4-5k? Next.....................!!

You probably wouldnt be off 966 Turbo running costs!!

The extra lights on the front ruin it for me. They actually manage to make it look chav.

Take them off, then i'd have it.

Been on Google for running costs -

'1st service was at 9K miles & cost about 300, 2nd service came around at 18K miles & cost just under 900 including brake fluid change. I'm on my 3rd set of front pads ( 350 each time although the 2nd set only lasted 3000 miles, so i got the dealer to supply & fit the 3rd set under warranty). I'm on my 2nd set of rear pads ( 150 a time), 2nd set of tyres went on at 15K miles at a cost of 1100 (recommended tyre was Mich Pilot Sport2 XL) & finally i've just had all the discs replaced at a cost of just over 1000, although i opted to replace the OEM with GmbH drilled discs, so to replace like for like would have been closer to 900.

That's my running costs to date, excluding fuel, tax & insurance. My next service (3rd) will be around 250 & the one after that will be well over 1000 due to the timing belt change. By 40K miles i'll also have been through a full set of pads & possibly discs as well & more than likely have had 2 full new sets of rubber. You can now work out the general running costs for an RS6 over 40K miles & by my calculations it equates to about 8500. Now can you still tell me those are not very high running costs & more than a 360CS. '

I could have got one for what I paid for my M3...................................but I dont think I could handle those running costs!!

Be a waste buying it & not driving it tho! That would drive me more mad than high running costs!!

Im driving mine as much as I can after splashing out on it. Think ive done 2k miles in the last 5 weeks!! Inspection 2 service is looming!

yeah this is it, its either out and about as much as possible! or garaged due to high running costs and have a shitter for the week lol

colin i think i would be out in your car every day tbh!

you must be over the moon with your new car i would be, tis a lush m3!

i would have an m3 anyday or an m5 if i was to get a bmw

thinking either an RS6 or S8 'ronin' style for jimbo!

Well as I no longer work on UK soil mines pretty much a play thing, if I was still doing the daily drag Id either have a shitty derv or no M3!!

Im very happy with it thanks

Older shape M5's & S8's are amazing cars by all accounts!! Alot of motor for the cash now!!
