Went to view this car today:

Nissan Almera Sri 1.6


Had to wait for it to be returned from its MOT.. so stood there for an hour.. looked at few more cars, Rover 25 1.6 3 door (which i wasnt against before I seen this almera) Renault Megane Coupe which was Funked...

so anyway, Almera was brought back... I notices cracked dash board, dent on the door, few scratches, nothing major... Engine sounded sweet, no smoke, no oil leaks....

Car had Major service on 08/08/2008... only 58k on the clock...

Then i sent a text check and it came back as no record...

I asked for log book... was told because the car was in germany it isnt registered in the UK yet...

so in the end I wasted aproxx 3 hours, didn't buy the car even though i Loved it...

Are all dealers like that??? not tell bad things over the phone??

Is it LHD?

Wouldn't insurance be affected if it's an import as well?

the thing is...Its RHD, got some UK plates on it... original receipt for the car...

Why do you want an almera, just curious as there are far better cars out there for that price.

For £875 you could get alot better car for that, Vectra, Golf to name but a few.

Almera's are awful cars, mate had a 2.0 16v GTi was a piece of shit. Rattled like hell, rusted to bits, engine was the only decent thing on the car. He soon fucked it off!

i know several people who have done it, but a dealer shouldnt do it

DannyB, I sat in Vectra today and wasnt impressed... It was 2.2 sri me thinks...

Loved Laguna seats though!!

Almera i looked at was solid, no major faults with it either....

Don't judge a car just by sitting in it millions of times betetr than an Almera, vectras go on forever aswell, great cars.

well i dunno why you say almeras are crap though! my dad had a nissan which was bascily an old Almera... it had something like 250k KM on the clock... all we replaced was two rear shocks...!
