Evening all.
Driving back from work around 4.30pm a woman decided not to look when pulling out of a junction, I went into the side of her as she swiped me. She was driving a LH drive yellow Smart car.
We pulled over and exchanged details. She addmitted it was her fault.
I rung my insurance and they have arranged for a curtsey car to be dropped of before 1pm tomorrow.
Not sure if my car will get written off or not?
Bumper may have broken a few clips and has a scuff on the passanger side
Grill has broken clips
Passanger wing has a scuff and I think it may have been moved slightly
Speedline is covered in something. Not sure if its rubber from her tyre or not
The clips that hold the passanger light in have snapped.
Bonnet has been shunted and moved but no scuffs.
The car is on 67k. FSH. Perfect condition (well, it was).
Bought it 10months ago on 56k for £2000. Paid more than it was worth but had £300 worth of warranty work on it so not all bad. But have spend £300 on a new cambelt and water pump.
Just worried if they write it off and give me a shit price for it. Anyway...
Pics:

If they do write it off, how much do you recon they would charge to buy it back? As I have a GSi front bumper in the garage ready to be sprayed and arches, light e.t.c arnt expensive to get hold off.?
All past expiriences/thoughts would be good.
More pics of the car are in my garage,
Thanks
Edit: Its a 1.6 Sport 1999

Are you serious? a Scuffed alloy, a cracked headlight bracket and a scuffed bumper?
They wont write that off

Does the slam pannel look bent, paint cracked any noticable creases, dents in it?

Not sure, the car has had a previous knock there before and has never reeally lined up well. Not bad, but noticeable.

They wont write that off
New wing, new bonnet, new headlight, painting, labour etc etc....
Corsa worth £1000 or so
I'd say it will be close to a write off.

On your wheel, I take it that is the marks from her tyre?if so, that should come off with a bit of elbow grease.

Just hope for the best mate, if they do write it off try and buy it back. Buy some second hand bits, stick em on and you have your car back.

Thats what I would do if it came to that.
Anyone think I could get the insurance people to spray the GSi bumper which would save them having to fix and repaint my old bumper?

Would be tragic if they wrote that off TBH.
You could fix most of it yourself.

Try and clean your wheel to check for damage under the rubebr that was left by the other cars tyre, try polish the wing and bonnet etc. See if you can get rid of some of the worse looking parts.

Will give that ago. You think the womans insurance would still pay out for the bent bonnet, bumper e.t.c tho? Dont want them to think I have made it look worse and it looking like im trying to pull a fast one on them.

If it was me i would of just polished most of it out and told her £400 or something and not gone through the insurance. It would of ment that you had cash the GSI bumper etc painted up and not had a claim on your insurance.
I work in a garage and very much doubt it will be close to a write off.
That is my opinion anyway

Thats good to no. Doubt she would just give £400 cash out tho. Time will tell I guess.
Thanks
Edit: Its on her insurance, not mine.
