I insured mine with Elephant for around 500-600 quid. It was a UK car though!! Imports are going to be more expensive.

I raced an Impreza the other day on a dual carriageway near my house, I pulled away in second without any problems. And before anyway says he wasn't trying he was because my mate behind was watching and he hit the limiter when he was next to me!

Quite alot though really 1600 for a years insurance. I wouldnt pay that now (although I did when I was 18) my M3's only like 650 to insure. A decent Evo just now for me would be 1200-ish, not sure about modern Scoobies, I dont like the loo of them so wouldnt buy one!!

Haha, I was only joking!

It just seems you cant post anything about any car on here without someone racing one on their fantasy, dream dual carriageway! Even a post about "what wheels should I get for my XXXXXXXX" turns into "I raced one of them" posts

That and Im bored

We went watching the WRC and we saw both types of Scooby, the new one just doesn't cut it as a WRC car.

Imprezas are tea-leaf magnets, won't help your insurance quotes.

Riiiight

Well visually UK ones have no rear wiper, no extrnal fog lamp. Imports do have these.

I had a UK2000 with PPP upgrade when I was 22. It was ok for insurance, but then again now there cheap and all the toerags are buying them up there maybe more to insure?
