Took the car to dashfixer's dastek rollers today, and got a huge shock!

The car is standard except for the gruppe m airbox, standard figures are 212bhp and 135lb/ft. It made 246.5bhp and 156.1lb/ft!

I'm totally shocked at that and a little confused! I don't doubt the figure as i've had 4 cars on these rollers and all were the right power, done 2 rolling road days and everyones cars were right too, they test the rollers every week, and i know of an fd2 which is 220bhp standard making 240bhp on a standard engine and a dc5 which again is 220bhp standard with a filter/exhaust that made 244bhp! (all on different rollers!).

so a very happy martin!

the noise is better in person, the camera was drowned by the fan noise!

well i have my FEELS exhaust which i was selling, but its getting fitted now, and going to get either a toda or dc sports manifold then get a kpro ecu in it and see what i get. uk ep3's which are 197bhp make around 240bhp with intake, manifold, exhaust and management so fingers crossed i get into the 260 mark and i'll be more than happy!

could do. dont see why it'd be any different though. i see your point but theres nothing to say its wrong, like i said, its my 4th car on these rollers, i've organised 2 rolling road days there and no results were iffy, and k20's have been proven to sometimes be alot more powerful than expected, also the drag loss is correct for most ep3's.

its hard to believe even for myself.

nothing suspension wise? 130ish bhp per liter is pritty dam impressive for an n/a engine without ITBs

thought you just meant engine! yeah suspension will be changed at somepoint just not sure what yet.

alright dean, long time no see. it seems a high figure but not unbelieveable, judging by past experience and other peoples similar cars/figures. might've had some internal work done, never know with imports.

the gruppe m sounds quiet there, the fan for the rolling road drowned it a bit.
