The example quotes are rubbish.
When have you heard of an 18 year old girl paying that much for insurance.
Would they use the data they had on you to get out of paying out in a crash?

I had something similar with Norwich Union, pay as you drive. On our 2.0DTi Astra between us we paid on average £23 a month (£14 standing charge, rest for mileage at 2p per mile, between 11pm - 6am £1 a mile, didnt do any journeys then)
Was alright and made us think about 'do we really need to use the car?' so helped us save money on fuel as well, although it does restrict you a little, and also if you are involved in an accident they can check speed and what not so could be a big issue if you are a tarmac terrorist

Sounds alright but what would happen if there was an emergency? "Whats that, you've chopped your arm off??" Can it wait until the morning?"

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

If they can track where you are, what's to stop them tracking the speed too? I'd rather not thanks.
