Neither do I. If people load the pics into their garage, I can see them. Post them straight from photobucket or any other sites and I cant see them. Cheers dude

A change of plans has kind of fucked me over and the standard bonnet safety catch does not fit anymore. I could technically get away with not using bonnet catches, but I dont know how safe it would be without that safety catch

Probably not very I'd imagine.

Personally I'd rather live with pins than have the possibility of having the bonnet fly open when going down the dual carriageway or motorway

I know, but I so dont want them! Technically, the bonnet cant just fly open if its not released by the bonnet catch.. ggrrrr what to do!?

That's a good point.

Whack some bolts through it that go into one of the random holes in the wing and be done with it

You may be right in that it won't open unless you pull the handle though. I'd still rather not find out

theres pics in the j18 bit of my garage of aerocathes

he other way i have seen it done is use a strong rock climbing type thing wire loooped on the slam panel with a hook thing from rock climing hooked round the holes in the underside of the bonnet

when you pop the bonnet hook holds thw wire and wont let it go further than a few inches till you release it
