Yeah a highly tuned hillclimb car
But you get the idea, standard engines with the CF box sound similar.

£8.5k for a 20 year old car with 120k on the clock.......

No thanks...

Its tidy, but its only a 2.0 engine, in a normal BMW with a few nice bits on it. Its no M. 325i I could understand it MAY warrent a closer price, but well expensive. Not for me. Could buy a nice modern 2nd hand car for less.

The 320iS was never imported into the UK, hence the price.

We got the M3 instead...

Just looked at the ad there, its not even a real M3 and they want £8500
granted 320is's are very rare.

We only got "imported" M3's as well. I thought only a very few original real E30 M3's made it in? All left hand drives too.

Were they imported as LHD, or imported like the 320 above and sold as LHD UK cars?

The "Imported" ones we received were still from dealers hence offical UK cars. Many got converted to RHD using a 325i rack and dash but it was rumoured they never drove the same after.

The 320is was never sold through the dealership network as a UK car as it was specific to the itallian domestic market.

You say you wouldnt pay 8.5k for that when an M3 which has the same underpinings will cost you closer to 15k for a clean one. IMO you'd be buying into a depreciation free car with some serious track credentials and an element of Kudos.

I will own one!
