Hello lads, new here Just got a vauxhall corsa 1.0 12v, understand they arent the fastest machines around but i want something economic and low on insurance for my first year so I can jump into something faster on my second year hopefully?

Its a 2000 Envoy 5 door model with no power steering which is a bummer, but it only has 35,000 miles. Got it for £1,500 and insurance is £700 third party F+T. I havent yet passed my test so im using it as an L plate car but ive done 14 lessons so i hope im ready for my test soon

Seems like a great community and i look forward to posting further!

Just cosmetic probably , its only a 12v so unlikely I will do any performance modifications , if there even is any

Decent alloys when i have some money, maybe a tidy little spoiler for the back and a general tidy up, its in pretty good nick at the moment so rusty bits are my target

it's a long standing joke to call it volt instead of valve

don't put an induction kit on it or you'll end up replacing the AFM.
