been watching the films and thought to my self how do you do a rear wheel burn out? is the handbrake on the front on something?

Its a case of starting the burn out and using your foot brake to help aid 'not going forward'

It's all down to control and power.

There is more force applied to the front brakes so a relatively light touch is required.

With enough power you'll pretty much spot it without touching the brakes anyway.

most of the american cars are RWD so as said put in "D" holding the brakes slam on gas and slowly realese the brake when you ready to move forward hence if you search on yourtube the brake lights are on

I used to be able to do rear wheel burnouts in my Corsa? Can anyone explain this, its confusing me now I know its only supposed to be possible in rear wheel drive cars.

left foot brake
right foot accelerator
left foot down at all times, and feather the throttle, easy

On a lot of drag cars, they have a brake line lock where you press a button and that applies the brakes to the front wheels only.
