What do you use?

I have been using BP Ultimate recently but I haven't really noticed any difference over supermarket 95ron. But when I filled up once at Tesco with Tesco 99ron I noticed a lot more difference (.2 secs on 1/4mile too!)

.2 secs on a quarter mile could just be a better run - couldn't see it being the fuel.

I use V-Power

Said fuel + decat = awesome smell.

I use normal Shell 95 ron fuel.

Seriously, unless your car is mapped to run on higher octane fuel, dosnt waste your money on it.Its ok every now and again to clean the valves etc but running a 1.4 or even a C20XE on it is just pointless.

V Power or V Power Racing 100 over here. Seems to get decent mileage on a cruise with them.

Both my clio and the saab were mapped for it, didn't notice much difference except it threw an eml on the saab.

I prefer it as it keeps the nasty det away from my apex seals, but if it gets you 3 extra seconds to check your make up in the car park, that's good too.

used to use tesco 99 but now just use normal tesco unleaded.

exhaust didn't pop and bang as much when it was on 99 which is also the reason went back to normal unleaded

Is it really going to make any noticable difference if your cars mapped on overpriced petrol or not?
