Remove the carpets, thick yellow sound deadening, the black tar shit, headlining, strip the wiring loom of unused wires.

It all adds up.

Have a look at my wip.

.... very easy answers....

EVERTHING you dont use or need. I.e you dont need a radio, but you do need a seat

the next step after removing weight, is replacing stuff

GRP panels are pretty cheap. Wings, Doors, boot and bonnet.
Lexan windows - plastics4performance

Then after that its more serious.... SPEED HOLES in strategic places (metal... plastic speed holes are more for show )

I was gonna say, cut the passenger side of the dash out.

Fully strip the interior, and only put back in what you need. Anything else, cut holes in it. A hole saw is your best friend.

Juts dont be a div and cut through important structural parts

sole destroying.... just make sure you do it in stages... testing things along the way.

Last thing you want is a nice light weight car that wont start. D'oh

i didnt scotchlock it in... cut the wire and used the +ve feed for the fog to power the pump.

I had to 'switch' the fog lights on to activate the pump.... but the lights never came on.
