I need a half decent tool set, dont do THAT much anymore myself but would be good to have! Are these pretty good quality then? Thanks for the heads up by the way, may get one on my way home!

I have a set like this for work. Mines the older style kit though. Halfords Professional = . Good quality tools.

£200, they was £150 with a free 2 tonne jack a year ago.

Looks they have changed all the screw driver attachments on to a smaller wrench.
I have an older set which is about 80% the same, has been faultless, very helpful, rather then just some useless cheaper crap.

there fuckin plop imo. iv got the same set blew up all 3 of the ratchets bearings and they wernt under stupid strain either, took them back for the life time guarantee replacement but ididnt have the reciept and they wouldnt replace them even thoug its got halfords stamped into each tool where the fook else am i gonna but it from why do i need a reciept. rant over

Used a mates set before when doing my XE Conversion, never went wrong.

Was going to order a 120 piece set a while back so glad i waited. Just ordered a set

Brother has one, not managed to break anything yet, even sticking a massive bar onto the ratchet for tight stuff.

It's got a couple of sockets missing that it could be doing with but great set for the price and can't beat a lifetime no hassle swap warranty.

Its required for proof of purchase. As in could have been stolen and bought on the side for cheap. Can fully understand that term and condition tbh.

A case of what came first the chicken or the egg. With the headunit you may require the tools to fit it, if you buy the tools you don't have anything to use them for

Ive already got all the tools their to fit the headunit and i already have a box of tools that work fine however they probs arent as good quality as the halfords ones

i under stand what you say but if its a "lifetime" guarantee who keeps a reciept for the whole lenght of time you have the tools for? c'mon we all lose reciepts lol im not bothered anyway i managed to replace my broken parts using the display tool box in the shop

i nearly bought the 120 piece set on offer for £99 last month, glad i waited now!
im gonna laminate the receipt and put it on a little hook in the garage, or under the foam in one of the draws of the tool chest i'll inevitably buy at the same time
