Im not a big Rover fan but I REALLY like that, the colour is ace!!
Hopefully with the engine work its had it should be pretty reliable for you too!
£3k for me..........Nissan 200sx S14a! Fast, reliable, tuneable and right wheel drive!

Im guessing the engine is the 2 litre turbo from the tomcat coupe?
I didnt realise Honda ever made that engine for them?

What do i need to look out for when looking at a turbo'd car?
The spec he has on that should make it quite solid. As the boost hasnt been increased much.

Its not a Honda engine, its a Rover engine.
Only Honda engines in them were the early ones.
Certainly not what i would could call "reliable" if its been tuned up.
If its got such a massive spec, where are the pictures? No interior pictures either.

as long as its a good engine when you get it,it should be fine,if you grill it everyday and are boost happy then you'll get problems.

doesnt say what the engine is... just says orig 1.4.
Thats going to be busting its guts if its a 1.4 on 250bhp. Not worth considering if you cant deal with the problems that WILL come with it.
i.e i wouldnt consider it for a daily car..... unless it can be turned right down.

Check if its registered as a 2ltr.
Ask for proof of rebuild
Take the spec list with you and see if you can spot items.

why bother checking if its reg'd as a 2.0? Its something that can be done easily.
I wouldnt refuse to buy it if its was booked as a 1.4

Love the colour combined with the black wheels.. Looks like it should be on a battle field! A 3 series done in those colours would look hard as nails .
