Just felt left out and wanted to start a thread

Just wondered what everyone thought of the day?

I had a really good day weather was spot on and I enjoyed chatting to everyone and seeing all of the nice cars. Just a shame I couldnt get out on the main session with you lot although an appearance from pickford made up for this

Enjoyed my evening session blat although my car seems understeery compared to last time
And our session had a distinct lack of blue flags Stupid BMW 3 series and MX5 wouldnt budge

Although had a good 10 mins before I hit traffic that was nice

Novalneils fabia is quick in a straight line

Was gonna say, if it's been a hotter day your pressures may have been up.

Either that or you're just more confident than last time and pushing harder into corners?

if you rotated tyres to put the tyres with more tread to the front they will have been getting hotter.

More tread = more movement of tread blocks

more movement = more heat generated.

30 psi cold is quite high (for a small light car)

On the skyline we tend to set off with about 26psi Cold and try and maintain hot pressures around 32psi (letting out more air)

Next time experiment with pressures You'll be surprised the difference they can make.

Ok might give it a wirl next time. Just that the sidewalls seem to show quite alot of wear as it is at that pressure. dont want them folding over even more or anything

I had a great time! Was in the 5:10pm session and yes there was a distinct lack of blue flags The missus then did the 5:40 session in my car. I sware some people didn't listen in the briefing at all!!! On her first 3 laps (when your mean't to be following the pace car showing you the lines) she had 3 people overtake her and people were all over the track not following the lines at all. Oh well, she enjoyed it.

Didn't get to speak to anyone though Didn't recognise anyone. Sorry, will make more of an effect at Combe.

That's the trouble with those £25 quid session, you get wannabes on them who are just there to race around the track, not improve their track knowledge/ability.

That guy in the black MK4 Golf was holding everyone up on the main session, I'm surprised he didn't get flagged up, must have been infront of about 5-6 cars for 3 continuous laps
