I believe Broster and Dave A have 190bhp+ from theirs so there's great potential. Get the air flow sorted first as they're very restricted in standard form (X16) Monster did simple mods like straight through system, filter and Mantzel inlet and it made 20bhp. Thats the most common start point for these engines.

Can't imagine that being true. I'd say around 150bhp/160bhp?

Nah bang a 3.0 V6 in there. More useable than an XE and nicer driving characteristics.
I had a 2.5 with MSD cams, fpr, software and straight through exhaust and it was far faster and much nicer on the road than an XE is. A 3.0 is the same power out the box anyway so may as well just fit a 3.0, more torque than a 2.5

So can power crazy over her in lincoln but id rather do it myself if hes just knocking up manifolds on a welder without some real money being spend on R&D of off the shelf kits.

I would say 180BHP with a standard inlet probably is possible, just make it rev massive head work, mental cams
SBD managed 240bhp with bodies so 180bhp without seems probable.

for hat power i think it would be with an enlarged single throttle body, comoplete new inlet, like the velos pulse what ever it was, management, cams, full on engine build....
180bhp with a totally standard inlet, not possible IMO
