LOL this sort of thing really pisses me off, if i bought a lamborghini to find that the same part is used in a vauxhall corsa b to control mirrors i would feel royally pissed off,,,,

looking through the lambo site and noticed this...

then found a better upclose pic.

also i remember seeing a video with a mclaren f1 using the same thing.

Why would it possibly bother you?

The fact that you own a lambo should be enough tkeep you happy. That and all the parts are supplied by external electronic companies.

And no, lambo are owned by the VAG group....

theyve been used on many different cars for years, im pretty sure my dads old granada's used the very same switch

i cant remember which lambo it was now, but it used the same headlights as a nissan 300zx!!!!

TVR's also share Vauxhalls leccy window buttons.

You could buy them in chrome because of it. We never got any for D5, but i think someone else did.

You really should, my HSBC has a machine where you just tip all your change into it and it counts it and deposits it free of charge for you, takes 1 minute + the time it takes for you to drag £100 of 2p's up town

VX220's have metro wing mirrors
Noble's have Mondeo rear lights (and engines)...

Would imgine it's down to cost effectiveness. Why mess around pouring money into R&D to produce something which you can obtain from another company or you can make in conjunction with them.

I.e some cars share the same chassis etc.
