so if your olds gave you one, you'd say no?

id snap their hands off tbh. if they can afford that as a gift, i dont think id need to learn the value of money ever.

reminds me of that thread linked off here to an M5 thread in america, where the young lad had an M5 and ended up crashing it killing himself and his mates

edit: found the news report, the thread itself doesn't work anymore though i don't think...

Reminds me of the story on the same forums? (may be same one?)

Kid posts up ... 'Wow I got a m3 only 16'...

Week later, someone from same forum posts up news article of m3 crash with everyone inside being fatalities, saying 'I hope it wasn't anyone from off here'.

Someone recognises the car reg as the new kid...

1. Parents buy 16 yr old m3
2. kid posts up and brags
3. kid goes out driving with mates and kills them all and himself
4. makes news
5. m3board realise who it was.

I'd love it if I was bought an M3, i'd drive about laughing at people who's parents couldn't afford to buy them one.

Of course I wouldn't say no. But it's greed like that which has got the world in the state it's in.
