Not bad.
But go for the 1.6. So much more usable torque over the 1.4 and much better basis for tuning.

Out of interest how old are you ? Driving experience etc ?
How much difference is the insurance from a 1.4 to a 1.6 ?
In my opinion keep what you have and then get the 1.6 when you have an extra year of driving.

Wait the extra few months mate, I know just how annoying 12v's are but you'll pay so much less on insurance in a few months time

You had a good company then Iirc 1.4 Sports are group 5-7 somewhere, 12v's are mostly group 2. You got a good deal me thinks

cant fault a 1.4 sport mate for getting some NCB's under your belt! Not a bad car for young driver's.

Elephant! They it was 900 and something TPFT (car was probably only worth 1k so didnt see the point in fully comp)
And the 12volt was 820 or something like that Cant remeber the figures but it was in that region.
Give elephant their due, they will insure me on loads of big cars (530 bmw, range rovers etc for no complete stupid money like some companys, even if they give me a quote)
