the gearbox would of cost £9k alone when it had the 1.6 in.(havent read it all as not got enuf time.)
the original 1.6 is a longman motor as is seriously over priced tbh! gota be £15+ lol
think it managed a 5sec 0-60, spanishflys nova managed a 4.8....and cost prob 1/6th price
£80k though, and its rob nowhere near as quick as a let corsa or something

As long as it gets abused / used properly then it's all good.
However, this is an example of having the biggest budget doesn't mean it's driven the best on track.
(to be fair he admits his lines are shit)
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=JiLSdd9gdmE
but some of those lines are shocking + you aren't supposed to be able to 'overtake into corners' - i.e. once past the braking point into a corner you should remain behind the car infront, but constantly nips up the inside in that vid (which is half the reason his lines are off, as he's going in too shallow).
Will still be a weapon, especially with the new build being lighter (one big problem before was the weight with dimma kit etc) and the power!
I just wish I could afford a couple of grand to do something basic like caging the car and a simple set of coil overs
he spends 8k just on a bit of rear suspension

^^ if it's the day in the vid above,
then not surprising... he has 210 bhp and is stripped out, with LSD plus loads more
most others on track look like they've only got about 110-130 bhp and are pretty much standard.

fucking rapid, think he said 680 kg and 270 bhp (with torque this time)
compared to near 900-1000 kg (due to kit) and 210 bhp with lack of torque.

Haven't read the thread really but im sure its probably this one:

Was at donnington a few years back, wasn't terribly quick but it was an immaculate car with a pretty amazing spec!

The thread if you had looked, was the progression from that spec...
Car looks nothing like that now, has a different engine 270 bhp, etc.
