Not had a different font for a few year's, i used to have this on my corsa



Never had any issue's with it, changed for MOT time though. Thinking about another set for the new car but i dont no if thing have been tightened up recently RE font's and custom plate's

if anything the 'standard irish' font is nicer than 'standard uk' - bit narrower letters. thats what i have.

german jobbies on the corsa, only ever had the question are you german? from a police said change them, never did all was fine.

and import size on the civic
compared to "legal"

on the car

i have had my plates a while and never been questioned about my plates, think it helps with it being a irish import lol.

even had my MOT with them on

i like a border too. looks neater than a plain one. Mine: black border, irish font, GTE logo and a little smaller.

Lots of irish plated cars round here like mine have fancy fonts on and does that mean its alrite for northern irish plate cars because you could just say you got it like that
