Do you have a particular pair of shoes that you always wear when you're going for a serious drive?

I've got some very flat soled Everlast ones that I'm really comfy in, or some Puma Pace like these:

They're both getting knackered now though, anyone recommend some good ones seeing as I'll be hammering them over the 'Ring soon?

The pedals in the Rex are metal as standard, I doubt there'd be much of my feet left after a few laps of the Nordschleife if I did it barefoot

My smart shoes for work are really soft leather with a thin flat rubber sole and are ace for driving in

Too formal for the weekend though

Used to have an ace pair of nikes that had that waffaly gum sole and were really thin and light. They wore out though

I used to drive in Vans/DCs/Etnies, but I struggle now, too thick, too heavy, no feel.

LOL

I drive in anything! My driving actually tends to be smoother if I drive in heels. Never ever drive any considerable distance in heels though.
