Stopped off at a local car garage today for a browse as I clocked off at lunch time. This particular garage sell a veriety of different cars from mini's to bentleys, I had a good look over a new shape TT & 911 C2 which I knew in advance they had in, both were ok. But what stuck out to me as the nicest car they had in, was a Porsche Boxter S, in black.
I dont know why but I left thinking it was nicer than anything else id just looked at. Also on 53 plate with 36k miles it was only £13k
Got a value to put in my golf against it................£2k.
I was surprised how much I liked it though. Im worried about myself
No poor mans 911 craik plz as compaired to the more expensive 996 they had in it looked 10x nicer!!

Nice low mileage, so for the amount you do, it should be perfect.
My auntie and uncle got a Boxter in the summer, they love it. It's an older one with all the orange indicators on it though
Being a Boxter S, I bet it's awesome.

Looked quite basic inside, stylish though. The 996 I looked at looked old, leather was all cracked etc.
Golf was £2600 on the guys glass guide but said hed not be able to offer that much...........got the impression he didnt want it. Guy from works offered me £3750 for it anyway. Im just waiting on him getting the cash together.

Still looking bud, just been going in a few garages to get an idea of whats available. Golfs deffo getting sold soon though, I need it gone before I can commit to anything. Liked the idea of a 996 C2/4 for 15-16k like what nova_GTE's just got, but I think you really get what you pay for with them, the couple ive looked at deffo anyway.

Yeah I know
Im just saying it was probably the only car that stuck out to me today, both on looks (most important to me) & price/value.
Just went in for a look in general, but I knew they had a few nice cars in, worth seeing:

TT 3.2V6 - £18k
&

996 Carrera 4 - £17k
Ended up liking this more -

Yeah thats a worry with a 996. Its older, high-ish miles, well 80k iirc. Not sure if I want to pocket the expence.
