Tried B&Spew this afternoon but they only had 5l ones...

For the Bioethenol

Big ones are a pain it the arms! It takes soooo long to empty that your arms ache even when it is finally empty.

filling 4 5l ones, and karting all of them about is a pain.

Using a 20l one s ok for me, but Fee struggles a bit.

These 2 new ones will give us

3x 20l and 1x 10l

Maybe use 20l for E85, and 50l for VPower. May be an idea to get a couple more 20's actually.

That's where I got mine from. £10 and £5 for the spout thing that clips on the top of it.

My mate surgested to weld a nut and a bolt to the bottom of the can. So when your filling your car, take the bolt out and the fuel will come out much quicker due to the air getting in. I never did get round to sorting that but I have only used it about 5 times.

as above really old army surplus stores, wakefiedlas and desbury have army stalls on market they occasionally have them..they weigh a ton and take a while to empty but so much easier than farting about with little 5l ones

E85 - higher octane....

Basically going to use it in small measures (10-20%) to start with .... essentially just a cheap Octane booster. We should be able to run more advance / more aggressive map before getting DET..

So more power.

BUT

E85 burns a fair bit 'quicker' than normal petrol so you need to inject more. So bigger injectors and pump are prob needed. It MAY also be corrosive to the rubber fuel lines in standard cars. And you need a remap of course.

Fee's opinion - It smells of sandwiches...
