as far as i can remember i have never made any serious mistakes when driving except for this morning. i was sat at a set of traffic lights that i go through every day but like a dick i was fucking about with my radio. i kept looking up to check on the lights and spotted a green light so set off. it wasn't my light though. full respect to the guys who avoided the wanker in the astravan who suddenly appeared in there way. feel like i right cunt now. i always talk about how i feel i'm a safe driver and then i drop a bollock like that. not really sure why i made this thread, i guess it's out of guilt. i could have fucked up at least 3 cars so was very lucky......

Ah the joys of messing with your stereo. I reversed my saxo into a 4 foot wide bright white post in the work car park a few years ago whilst changing radio station

I did the same in Southamtpon a while bcak; granted it was nearly midnight so there was nothing about but I was on the dock road which is a dual carriageway with about 7 sets of lights one after another. I wasn't messing with my stereo but the next set in front changed and I thought they were for me - it was only when the missus went mad that realised

Takes balls to admit when you've made a mistake. Most people are c*nts n will just give you the bird sign, or worse, and tell you to "farrrrk offff"....
Even more balls to post said mistake on here

Done a similar thing myself.
Hadnt been driving long, was talking to a mate while sitting at traffic lights and not paying attention.
Another set of lights turned green and i mistook them for mine and drove straight across 2 lanes of traffic without even looking.
Luckily there was nothing coming.

I had a guy pull out on me on my way home this afternoon.............he pulled right out at speed to do what I must assume was a 3 point turn in the road, missed him by inches, only to get a disgusted look off the prick for eing in the way.
Very lucky I was fully awake or he'd be on the phone to his boss explaining why theres a car now bent in the middle of his van!!

I've drove up and sat at a green light before, I suppose that is just as bad when I had a queue of traffic behind me
