Out of all of those pictures, there's only one car I'd want.
However, as you haven't mentioned it, the M3. I wouldn't have a 996 if you paid me, they're fugly and all wrong, engine is in the wrong place and they're not air cooled, so don't have any character to make up for it.
M3 would be better with a roof though, you look like a drug dealer otherwise.

looks dated when compared to zonda but compared to 911's they dont change much

Got to be a 911 as you've just got rid of an M3..............neither of those do it for me though!!

£20k is top of the budget really; the m3 is 19,900! But would have to sale both m3's before i had that much cash available!!

I can't believe you have a budget of £20k and that's the best you can come up with.
I get the impression you only want a 911 so you can say you own a 911 TBH.
Both those 911s are fugly and i'm not sure about that M3.

Thats kinda what i was thinking.
For 20k, you can get something with more character. Maybe it won't be as fast, but probably put a bigger smile on your face.
