You should see the video of me and that Clio having a tussle. It's really good.
He could carry so much more speed around bends, I suppose it does help having full stripped out, cut slick tyres, sequential box and ridiculous camber
I'll get the vids up tonight if I have time before my work do.

Jr, that old woman in the Modus? Check this out from Pistonheads.
"I was talking to a chap who said he was part of the photographic staff. Probably not a good thing to quote him word for word on this forum but I understand the Modus driver has put in an official complaint to the organisers because "The cars were going far to fast". I'm covering myself by saying allegedly! If true what were your expectations of a Track Day? I might be new to this but I kinda guessed some cars would be going over 50mph. The words Brands Hatch and Track Day seemed to be a clue. “silly me”"

The old bird was a joke, you are supposed to move over to the right so people can overtake on the left, but no these two idiots took the law into their own hands and went around the track like it was a trip to the shops.

I bet you would be suprised if you put it out on the track Ben. Don't listen to motoring press, any car can be made to handle well if you drive it properly.
Considering that Clio was a fully track prepped racer he wasn't massively faster than me around there, he was running cut slicks as well. Mine is a totally standard, so set of springs, rear ARB and things can only get better.

Well that TVR wasn't any quicker down the straights and that Evo certainly didn't blow me away. Remap and I'd have been all over him down the straight.
Either way, I'm happy with the Astra it can only get better. Bit understeery out of Druids but can improve that with better lines and a different approach with the throttle.
